Our philosophy

Hi, I'm Matthew Downs—a paramedic with over 6 years of experience working 911 calls on the front lines of emergency medicine. After countless shifts, stories, and sleeves of coffee, I decided to combine my passion for pre-hospital care with a growing interest in learning.

What started as a side project became something more: a platform that blends the grit and humor of EMS life with designs that speak to those who live it. I created this website as a space to showcase different blogs made by a first responder, for first responders—plus I share real insights into pre-hospital medicine, current topics in EMS, and the occasional vent session (we’ve all been there).

This is more than just merch—it's a way to represent our work, our culture, and our dark sense of humor… with a clean font and good cotton.
